HOWTO REACH

Rishikesh and Haridwar are the gateway to enter in Garhwal region which is just 225 Kms away from Delhi. Approx 5 hours drive will take you to the foothills of Himalaya called Rishikesh. Though you can drive from Delhi to Dehradun – 260 Kms / 5 hours drive and another 1 hour drive will take you to the queen of hills called Musoorrie. From Mussoorrie you can enter to Uttarkashi district for Yamunotri and Gangotri area or take a ride to Chamba via Dhanaulty which will take you to Tehri and Pauri district.

Rishikesh & haridwar are well connected with Shatabdi train and express trains while as Dehradun is connected with the flights from Delhi.

Haldwani and Kathgodam has best approach to eneter in Kumaun region and Nainital is just one hour away from here. Corbett National park is situated on the foothill of shivalik ranges of Himalaya. Haldwani – Kathgodam are well connected with the train from Delhi and other major cities in India. Though if you wish to explore the east of Kumaun region you may travel by train up to Tanakpur. Pantnagar is only one airport in the region. Some flights are available from Delhi.
