Approx 5 hours drive will take you to the foothills of Himalaya where river Ganges stepping in to plains of India. Check in at your hotel and later explore Ram Jhulla – Laxman Jhulla – Parmarth Niketan and Temples. Witness the Aarte ceremony at the bank of river Ganga and back to the hotel for overnight stay
After breakfast drive uphill to Chamba. Approx 2 hours drive will take you to this beautiful hill station. Check in at your hotel and proceed further drive to reach at Surkanda Devi road head approx 22 kms . Approx 3 kms uphill trek will take you to this beautiful location having 360 D Panorama of Trans Himalayan ranges and Shivalik ranges. Surkanda Devi is a Hindu temple situated at an altitude of about 3,030 metres, lies close to nearby hill stations of Dhanaulti and Chamba. Retrace back to the road head and drive back to your hotel in Chamba. Overnight stay
Morning start down hill drive to reach at Tehri Dam ( biggest hydro electric project) and continue drive for another 2 hours to reach at last road head to reach at the temple. Approx 3 kms uphill drive will take you to another 360 D Panorama from the temple. Trail is wide enough and well maintained to reach at. Chandrabadani is a mountain cliff sitated at the elevation of 2,277m above sea-level. This is the main deity of the natives. In Navratri you will witness a large no of pilgrims who come to offer homage to their deity. Retrace back to road head and continue drive to Srinagar and further to Rudraparayag. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.
After breakfast drive to reach at Kartik Swami Temple. Stop to witness one of the major confluence of river Mandakini and Alaknanda in Rudraparayag. Continue drive with beautiful villages and Himalayan panorama en route. Get prepared for another most interesting trek for approx 3 kms uphill to reach at the top of the mountain where Kartik Swami temple is located. Passing by Rhododendron and Oak trees feels you so nourishing and refreshing. If you are planning in the month of March & April you will see the blooming Rhododendron all around which its nice fragrance. Arrive at the temple and count all the major Trans Himalayan Peaks of Garhwal and Kumaun hills. Nanda Devi – Trishil – Panchachuli – Chaukhamba – Kamet – Hathi Parvat – Bandarpunch etc.. are visible from this point. Trek back to road head and drive down to reach at Okhimath for your overnight stay.
Ger prepared for another beautiful day with most beautiful location in Garhwal Himalaya. 25 Kms drive will take you to Chopta considered most beautiful part of Garhwal for its scenic beauty. Start uphill trek for around 3 Kms to reach at Tungnath Temple dedicated to Lord shiva and highest shrine in Garhwal. This one of the 5 shrine called Panch Kedar. Trek further up to reach at Summit called Chandrashila which is the highest point of this peak. This is approx 1 Kms uphill from the temple and offer 360 D Panorama from this point. Trans Himalayan ranges are so close to you and can identify all major peaks from here. Enjoy being at divine world and later back to read head at Chopta. Drive down to reach at Gopeshwar which is just 2 hours drive away from here. Spend the night at Gopeshwar and overnight stay.
After leisurely breakfast drive back to Haridwar. Enroute explore confluence of Nandakini and Alaknanda at Nand Prayag, confluence of Pindar and Alaknanda at Karnaprayag and finally Bhagirathi and Alaknanda at Devprayag which is the starting point of Ganga. Check in at your hotel in Haridwar and evening witness the Aarte ceremony and overnight stay
Approx 5 hours drive will take to back to Delhi and you can board your flight / train for onward destination with beautiful memories
